Issue No. 30
Dropbox and images
Connect your own Dropbox, and let Parachute read the images and scanned documents you share.
Two more ways to bring your material into Parachute.
Dropbox
Dropbox is now available as a personal cloud storage integration. Each user connects their own account and works with their Dropbox files directly in Parachute. If an import ever fails, Parachute tells you why rather than pretending it worked.
Parachute can read images now
- Images you upload are transcribed into searchable text.
- Images shared in a chat are passed to the AI for visual understanding, so you can ask about what’s in them.
- PDF text extraction is smarter too, falling back to AI vision when a document has no clean text layer - so scanned files read far better.
Also in this release
- Truer headers and footers in Word documents, handled more faithfully through the editing pipeline.
