What Parachute does
AI document drafting
Generate contracts, policies, advices and letters from your own precedents or from scratch, in the jurisdiction you practise in. Three AI modes let you match depth to the task, so a routine letter and a complex advice do not cost the same effort.
Contract review
Upload a contract and get a structured review rather than a summary: extracted obligations, risk scored by severity, conflicts flagged against your knowledge base, and in-line suggestions you can accept in the editor. What takes two hours by hand takes about twenty minutes.
Legal research and knowledge base
Ask questions against a global legal knowledge base, Australian legislation, and your own precedents and playbooks. Every answer carries source citations, so you can check the reasoning instead of trusting it.
Expert verification
Request human review on any document and it routes to your connected law firm or to the expert pool. A qualified professional reviews the work with real-time chat, and the price is shown before you commit.
Integrations and collaboration
Parachute connects to NetDocuments, Clio, Smokeball, InfoTrack, OneDrive and Slack, with a Word add-in, a meeting note taker and email-to-thread. The editor handles real-time collaboration, version history, comments and Word or PDF export.

Published pricing, not a quote
Harvey and Legora quote per firm. Parachute publishes its pricing: from $400 AUD per month plus GST per instance, and $120 per additional seat on annual billing. You can work out your cost before you speak to anyone.
It does the legal work, not the practice management
Clio, Smokeball and LEAP run your firm: matters, billing, trust, time capture. Parachute does the work inside those matters. It integrates with all three rather than replacing them.
Purpose-built, not a general assistant
ChatGPT and Claude rely on you to ask the right question. Parachute gathers context first from your knowledge base, your jurisdiction and your organisation profile, then drafts, and carries a review pipeline, a collaborative editor and expert verification around the output.
Australian data residency, no training on your data
Customer data is hosted in Australia and is never used to train AI models. Parachute officially supports five jurisdictions: Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada.

The team behind Parachute
Parachute was founded by a practising lawyer, to build software made specifically for firms of 1 to 200 lawyers. Software that makes them faster, not more admin. It launched in September 2024 and has been co-built with law firms and businesses across Australia since day one.
Ryan Zahrai is co-founder and CEO, and leads the company and its work with firms. Dave Berner is co-founder and CTO, and leads engineering and the platform. Viv Chan is co-founder and CPO, and leads product and how the legal work actually gets done in the app.

Getting started
Book a demo and someone from the team will show you the platform against your own work, help you choose the right plan, and get your firm set up.
Onboarding
You select your jurisdiction at sign-up, then upload precedents, policies and playbooks to your organisation knowledge base so the AI answers in your firm's voice rather than in general terms. Connect NetDocuments, Clio, Smokeball, InfoTrack or OneDrive and Parachute works against the documents you already have. Enterprise plans include custom onboarding.
Who you work with
Parachute is a team of eight in Sydney, so the people who build the product are the people you deal with. Email support is included on every plan, and Enterprise plans add dedicated support and contracted SLAs.
Day-to-day communication
Work happens in the app, with real-time collaboration, comments and @mentions on every document. Support runs by email at support@goparachute.ai, and the Slack integration brings Parachute into the channels your team already uses.
When you need a human
Request expert verification on any document and it routes to your connected law firm or to the expert pool, with real-time chat during the review. Pricing is per verification and shown before you commit. That engagement is between you and the law firm, and Parachute facilitates it.
