Frequently asked questions
How does the 14-day free trial work?
You get full access to Parachute for 14 days, no credit card required. When the trial ends, you'll be prompted to choose a billing plan to continue.
What's the difference between monthly and annual billing?
Monthly billing has no commitment - cancel any time. Annual billing is a 12-month term billed monthly at a lower rate. Both are charged monthly to your card.
How do seats work?
Your base plan includes 1 seat. Add more seats any time from your settings - the cost is shown before you confirm. New seats are pro-rated for the current billing cycle. Removing a seat reduces your bill from the next cycle.
Do you offer volume discounts?
Yes. For teams with 51 or more seats, we offer volume pricing. Talk to our sales team for a custom quote.
How do credits work?
Each AI interaction uses credits depending on the mode: Paralegal (1 credit), Lawyer (3 credits), Senior Associate (15 credits). Your plan includes a monthly credit allowance that resets each billing period. Select Auto and Parachute picks the right mode for you.
What kind of documents can I create?
Privacy policies, terms of service, contracts, NDAs, employment agreements, data protection policies, incident response plans, and more. Parachute defaults to your selected jurisdiction.
How does expert verification work?
Request verification on any document and it routes to your connected law firm or the expert pool. A qualified professional reviews your document with real-time chat. Pricing is per verification and shown upfront.
Where is my data stored?
Customer data is hosted in Australia today with regional residency on the roadmap. All plans include enterprise-grade encryption in transit and at rest.
Which countries does Parachute support?
Parachute officially supports Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada. When you sign up, you select your country and the AI defaults to that jurisdiction. The AI can also reason about other jurisdictions via web search, but jurisdiction-specific quality and compliance claims apply only to the supported countries.
How is Parachute different to ChatGPT?
ChatGPT relies on you to ask the right questions. Parachute proactively gathers context from your knowledge base, jurisdictions, and organisation profile. Plus it has a collaborative editor, document review pipeline, and expert verification built in.
