Issue No. 29

Built for barristers

A dedicated setup for barristers and chambers, from onboarding through to the language used across the app.

Barristers and chambers work differently from firms, and Parachute now fits the way they work.

A setup made for chambers

Sign up as a barrister and Parachute shapes itself around chambers rather than a firm. The language it uses, the details it asks for, and the way it’s organised all reflect how you actually practise, so there are no firm-shaped fields to work around.

Roles that match the bar

Junior Counsel and Barrister are now available as roles, so Parachute pitches its work at the right level from the first conversation.

Also in this release

  • Matter search by keyword, making it faster to find the right matter.
  • Sharper legislation handling. Parachute recognises named Acts by their full title and year more reliably, and can pull Commonwealth Acts directly from the Federal Register of Legislation.
