Full-fidelity Word export
A new Word export that preserves tracked changes, comments, tables, and complex list numbering.
Legal documents don’t stay in one tool. Eventually they end up in Word, and when they do, everything needs to come with them: tracked changes, comments, tables, numbering. Until now, exporting from Parachute meant compromising on some of that.
The new Word export changes that. It produces a Word doc file that behaves like it was authored in Word. Suggestions become native tracked changes reviewers can accept or reject. Comments land on the right text. Tables keep their formatting. Even complex legal numbering like 1. → 1.1. → 1.1.1. → (a) → (i) carries over intact.
Choose Word from the download dropdown in the document toolbar, and the export runs in about 1-2 minutes. Larger documents are chunked and processed in parallel to keep things fast.
The existing Word - express option is still there for quick exports that don’t need tracked changes or comments.
