Polish and precision
Rename your knowledge base files, export Word documents in the background, customise meeting notes, and more.
The last couple of weeks have been about making the things you already use work better. Smoother exports, smarter defaults, and a few rough edges filed down.
Rename knowledge base files
Uploaded a contract as scan_20260301.pdf? You can now rename any file in your knowledge base without affecting the original. Give documents meaningful names so they’re easier to find and reference later.
Faster, more reliable Word exports
Word exports now run in the background instead of blocking you while they process. A progress indicator shows the status, and if something goes wrong, you can retry without starting over. Large documents that used to time out now export cleanly.
Customise your meeting notes
The Parachute Notetaker now lets you control what your meeting notes look like. Set the detail level (brief, standard, or detailed), choose which highlights to include (action items, decisions, key dates), and add custom instructions. You can configure separate templates for client-facing and internal meetings, and Parachute picks the right one based on attendees.
Matter improvements
A few things that make matters easier to work with: you can now add threads to a matter directly from the thread view, manage matter members from the matters list, and upload and manage documents within a matter’s knowledge base.
Privacy by default
Verification summaries are now automatically scanned for personally identifiable information and redacted before they’re shared. Names, emails, phone numbers, and other PII are caught and masked so sensitive details don’t end up where they shouldn’t.
