InfoTrack launches AI-powered partnership with Parachute

This week we’re proud to announce our partnership with InfoTrack! We’re the first partner to integrate with their new MCP server and I’m all for being a guinea pig - especially when the team are such a delight to work with.

Why InfoTrack?

There were 2 main reasons we wanted InfoTrack as our first partners.

The first is purely practical, in that most Aussie firms already pay InfoTrack and trust their data. It’s the source of truth they’re working from when they do a title search, an ASIC search or a PEXA workspace. So, plumbing that into our AI workflow has a near-zero adoption cost because lawyers don’t have to switch trust.

The second reason is that InfoTrack were genuinely great to deal with.

As you can imagine, I’ve been on a fair few integration calls over the last few months with a wide spectrum of legal platforms, PMS and DMS solutions and not all were as forthcoming as you’d hope (that’s another article).

InfoTrack, however, were great. They were keen to move fast and keep the ball moving, all whilst being on top of their due diligence and security. The team were happy to jump on a call with us whenever we had questions, at all hours. When you’re a lean startup, wiring up what is a really meaningful feature for your customers, that feeling that a vendor is truly on your side is priceless.

What this looks like in a matter

So, what does it actually feel like when a lawyer is using it?

Picture working on a conveyancing matter in Parachute. You’re mid-flow, reviewing a contract for a property purchase. You want a current title search to confirm the registered owner and check for caveats. In the old world, that means stopping the matter, alt-tabbing across to the InfoTrack web app, running the search, exporting the result, dragging it back into the matter and finally updating the cost to your client - by hand.

Now, you can just ask Parachute to do the title search in the chat - right inside the matter. InfoTrack will perform the search inline, the verified result comes back into the matter, the cost is captured at the point of search against the client ledger and you can carry on with what you were doing. You can even save it straight back to your PMS right from within the chat!
